Contribution Overview
Contributed to the development of a custom mailer pack for Pull&Bear, adapting a structural cutter originally created as part of a collaborative Amazon mailer project and repurposing it for a new retail packaging application.
I was responsible for preparing the packaging cutter, applying the customer's graphical elements, and coordinating multiple rounds of revisions to ensure the artwork and structure worked together accurately in production. A key challenge was the alignment of the rear Pull&Bear logo, which initially appeared offset on assembled physical samples due to the relationship between the back-face overlap flap and the printed artwork.
To resolve this, I refined both the cutter and graphic positioning, ensuring the logo remained fully visible within the cut area and appeared visually centred once the mailer was folded and assembled. I produced a series of small hand-made mock-ups to test the structural behaviour of the pack and validate the artwork placement before production.
Throughout the project I liaised closely with the internal category manager and maintained communication with the Pull&Bear team to review revisions, share physical samples, and secure final approval. The finished cutter and artwork were successfully signed off for production and demonstrated accurate assembly and print alignment across the completed mailer pack.
