Contribution Overview
During my time at EP Group, I worked extensively across the M&S retail and operational packaging account, supporting both customer-facing packaging projects and internal store operations across one of the company's largest and most active retail accounts.
My work included production artwork, cutter development, packaging adaptations, retail signage, operational labels, staff materials, presentation assets, and a wide range of supporting artwork used throughout M&S stores, distribution, and internal teams. Projects ranged from paper-based packaging and food packaging development to operational graphics such as staff lanyards, stock management labels, accessibility signage, and in-store communication materials.
A significant part of my role involved preparing production-ready artwork and structural packaging files, refining cutter layouts, managing artwork revisions, and ensuring all assets met M&S brand, print, and manufacturing standards. I worked closely with internal design, account management, and production teams to deliver accurate artwork across multiple packaging formats and operational applications.
I also contributed to packaging proposals, presentation materials, and technical documentation supporting packaging development and logistics systems, including work related to packaging structures, transport cages, and retail packaging components. The breadth of the M&S account required a high level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across both creative and technical artwork production.
The work shown here represents a selection of commercially approved artwork and packaging development completed as part of a broader ongoing packaging programme for Marks & Spencer, including paper-based retail packaging initiatives developed during my time at EP Group.
